The amount of TCH in a hemp-based cannabis products, such as Scrill’s Ultra Premium THC-based products, is how the product’s strength is shown.
High-potency weed is cannabis that contains more than 20% THC or 10 mg or more of THC per serving. And the amount of THC in a cannabis product is typically how the product’s strength (or potency) is described. Keep in mind, there’s a wide range for what’s considered “high-potency” cannabis.
THC distillate typically contains upwards of 90% THC, making it one of the most potent cannabis products. This high potency means that distillates can have a more intense and immediate effect on the user.
What is delta-8 THC (or Delta 8 or D8 or Δ8)?
Delta-8 is an ingredient produced from the Cannabis sativa plant. Not to be confuDelta-8 is in both hemp and marijuana, which perhaps you didn’t know are two different plants within the same species. This simply means that the Hemp plant and Marijuana plant are very similar and have the ability to reproduce together. This means that Hemp plants and Marijuana plant can breed. When Hemp and andMarijuana plants breed they reproduce a new plant which generally contains larger amounts of CBD.
are of the same species.
of which marijuana and hemp are two varieties.Delta-8 THC is a cannabinoid found in Hemp and is the “chemical cousin” of Delta-9. Chemically, Delta-8 is very similar to Delta-9 THC (the “high” cannabinoid), with only slight differences.
Delta-8 THC is one of over 100 cannabinoids produced naturally by the cannabis plant but is not found in significant amounts in the cannabis plant. As a result, concentrated amounts of delta-8 THC are typically manufactured from hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD).
What is CBD? Is it the same delta-8 THC, HHC or THC?
CBD is the non-psychoactive part of the Cannabis plant. It is isolated from the other psychoactive parts to provide consumers with only the non-psychoactive benefits which included that gets seperated from the other active ingredients including THC.

What is Hemp? How is it different from Marijuana?
Perhaps you will be surprised to know… the Hemp plant and Marijuana plant are of the same species of plant. However, for legal purposes, there is a clear distinction drawn between the two plants. It is all about the level of potency level. Hemp is a milder form of Marijuana and is said to offer different effects which may include fighting: constipation, high cholesterol, eczema, arthritis, and many other conditions.
To learn more the laws that govern Hemp-derived products such as delta-8 and HHC check out the 2018 Farm Bill Act, which specifies the distinction, by googling, “USDA farm bill 2018,” and selecting the USDA’s website link listed in the results.
The Hemp plant, through its CBD, which is drawn out by processing the Hemp plant using various standardized methods. , which also can be found in both hemp and non-hemp plants, ffers consumers a more level-headed, refined experience sis more on the milder side. It is legal is most states
Both hemp and cannabis also contain cannabinoids such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabigerol (CBG), and others. The 2018 Farm Bill established the specific definition of hemp versus cannabis by limiting the THC content of hemp to no more than 0.3%. Hemp seeds contain fats, protein, and other chemicals.
CBD can be derived from hemp or from non-hemp plants
Don’t confuse hemp with Canadian hemp, hemp agrimony, cannabis, or CBD. These are not the same. Unlike cannabis, it is legal to sell hemp and hemp products under federal law in the US.
purposes, there is a key distinction made based on the percentage THC .Legally, hemp is defined as a cannabis plant that contains 0.3 percent or less THC, while marijuana is a cannabis plant that contains more than 0.3 percent THC. CBD can be derived from both hemp and marijuana plants.
The defining difference between hemp and cannabis (or marijuana) is their shared psychoactive component, THC. The potency (concentration or strength) of THC in hemp or cannabis (or marijuana) is measured as percentage of THC (by weight, or volume of a distillate oil). Today, the general potency of dried cannabis (or marijuana) plant is commonly around 15%. For cannabis (or marijuana) in the form of distallate oil that percentage is upwards of 90%. Hemp, less potent,, providing a more subtle euphoria and “high” feel, has 0.3% or less THC, meaning hemp-derived products don’t contain enough THC to create the “high” traditionally associated with marijuana. CBD is a compound found in cannabis.
The potency (concentration or strength) of THC in cannabis is often shown as a percentage of THC by weight (or by volume of an oil). THC potency in dried cannabis has increased from an average of 3% in the 1980s to around 15% today. Some strains can have an average as high as 30% THC.
[[[[ IS THIS TRUE???? ]]] The percentage potency of SCRILL℠ distillate is 80-90%.
***Meaning 1 gram of distillate will have 80-90% Delta 8 THC, 800-900mg.
What are Sativa, Indica and Hybrid?
The general hemp and cannabis markets categorizes THC-based products into three primary categories:
- indica
- sativa
- hybrid
Indica strains come from the cannabis indica plant, which is generally shorter and bushier than their sativa counterpart.
Indica strains are associated with more of a body high that makes you feel relaxed. They’re often recommended for people seeking strains to help with pain, insomnia, nausea, or poor appetite.
While plenty of indica strains might produce these effects, strains aren’t an exact science.
Things like terpenes, different cannabinoids (like THC and CBD), and even your history with cannabis can influence how you experience certain products.
That said, the indica versus sativa distinction can still be a useful tool to guide you toward what you’re looking for in a cannabis product.
Cannabis indica strains are often said to have the following effects:
- Relaxing. People say cannabis indica strains help their muscles relax and their brains slow down.
- Sedating. Many find that indica strains make them sleepy, which may be a good thing for people with insomnia.
- Pain-relieving. Indica strains are often recommended for people looking to use cannabis for chronic or acute pain.
- Appetite-inducing. Yep, “the munchies” aren’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if you have a low appetite due to a medical condition or treatment.
- Nausea-soothing. Many find that indica strains also help with nausea and keeping food down.

What is Live Resin? Delta 8 Live Resin? HHC Live Resin?
Live Resin concentrate extracted from freshly harvested marijuana plant material that’s been flash-frozen (or fresh frozen) at sublevel temperatures, blasted with solvents like butane, propane, or butane hash oil (BHO), and pressed.
Live resin is a cannabis concentrate made from fresh-frozen cannabis plants, in which plants are frozen immediately after harvesting, whereas other extraction processes typically use buds that have been dried and cured. This process ensures a greater retention of terpenes in the finished product.
Delta 8 live resin is a cannabis concentrate that has gained popularity for its unique properties and effects. Delta 8 live resin typically contains lower levels of delta 9 THC than traditional cannabis products. This makes it an appealing option for those seeking a more balanced high with less anxiety or paranoia
Live resins also tend to have a more sauce-like consistency than other concentrates, such as shatter or wax. This thinner consistency makes them easier to handle and ideal for vape cartridges, which is why they have become so popular for consumers and processors in recent years.
Leafly.com has a great article on Live Resin. Check it out here.
How will D8 make me feel?
Delta 8 has psychedelic effects and produces a high, albeit with some differences:
The psychoactive effects of Delta-8 are less intense and said to last for a shorter period compared to the effects of a D9 THC vape. This can be beneficial for those who want to reap the therapeutic benefits of cannabis without the “couch-lock” feeling or overwhelming high that delta-9 products can produce.
Although its high may be less intense than other products, you should never drive or operate machinery while under the influence of D8. Explore Covert Lab’s high-quality Delta-8 products now.
What are the Benefits of Hemp-based Products such as Delta 8 and HHC?

What is HHC?
HHC (hexahydrocannabinol) is a specific semi-synthetic cannabinoid that is extracted through THC hydrogenation. Like Delta8 and CBD, the HHC cannabinoid produces less psychoactive effects than that of Delta-9, which is the active ingredient in THC that causes psychoactive effects. HHC is a product that is increasingly rising in popularity, and Kalibloom is one of the first companies to bring you quality HHC products!
Is HHC just CBD?
HHC (or hexahydrocannabinol) is a molecule derived from THC that has hydrogen added to it. in which hydrogen has been added to that molecule (HHC). Hemp naturally contains it, though in however only in very small amounts. More frequently, it is a synthetic THC made in a lab. Although HHC is now commercially produced with CBD.

Are Delta 8, HHC, and Live Resin legal?
Delta 8 (or D8) is currently federally legal but prohibited by law in these states: AK, AZ, AR, CO, DE, ID, IA, KY, MS, MT, NV, UT, RI. For this reason, we cannot sell to customers in those states.
So long as products containing delta-8 do not have more than trace amounts of delta-9 THC, they satisfy the technical definition of “hemp” and are completely legal. However, some states have enacted laws prohibiting delta-8 products, including Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New York, Oregon and Washington. Other states, like Virginia and Michigan, regulate delta-8 like marijuana and require producers to obtain a state license before being allowed to produce and sell delta-8 products.
Delta-8 THC, a mildly euphoric isomer of Delta-9 THC, is one of the fastest-growing compounds on the hemp market. HHC, on the other hand, belongs to a completely different chemical class known as hexahydrocannabinol. Both compounds are federally legal (Delta-8 varies state by state), and psychoactive.
What is a Distillate (e.g. Delta 8 Distallate?) And how Is It Made?
Delta 8 THC Distillate (or oil-based) THC products are made from reducing down a Hemp or Marijuana plant. Distallate is one of the most pure forms of THC and CBD derived products. one of the purest products containing only the THC and CBD molecules, and has many applications across the cannabis industry. Removed in the cannabis and hemp extraction and winterization process are most fats, waxes and lipids that form the plant profile of the cannabis or hemp plant.
How are THC Distallates are Made The cannabis crude oil is heated in a boiling flask at varying temperatures. The vapor then passes through the condensing head (turning the vapor back into a liquid) and a liquid residue is collected in the collection flask, thereby isolating the THC and CBD components.
What are Terpenes, Flavinoids, Lipids and other components of SCRILL℠ THC-derived products?
Terpenes
Terpenes play an important role in the aroma and flavor of a cannabis strain, and they potentially work in synergy with cannabinoids and other cannabis plant compounds to produce psychoactive effects. But research continues to determine how beneficial terpenes are.
Depending on the variety of hemp, the typical terpene contents in hemp range from 0.125% to 0.278% weight in leaves and 1.283% to 2.141% in the inflorescence on a dry basis [19,61].
Although hemp is abundant in terpenes, it is not the only source. In fact, terpenes are found in lots of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

For the SCRILL of it: What happens when a Hemp plant and a Marijuana breed?
Plant breeding has increased the THC level to the point where it can account for up to a quarter of a plant’s total weight. The scientists found that breeding high-THC plants with hemp-type plants can swap a few genes and make a new plant that produces high levels of CBD instead.
According to a Michigan University blog, since hemp and marijuana plants are members of the same species, they can pollinate each other, meaning the pollen from the male plant can pollinate the female.
